One of the prettiest parts of the area is Blythwood Road. Because of its lovely Victorian, Edwardian, and Georgian houses, it was designated by the City of Toronto as a Heritage Conservation District. Some examples of Arts and Crafts architecture can be found throughout the North Toronto real estate as well.
Location
A hub of activity, the neighbourhood of North Toronto, Toronto is bordered by Eglinton Avenue to the south, Blythwood Road to the north, Bayview Avenue to the east, and Avenue Road to the west. This neighbourhood is large and varied and offers many housing styles from large mansions to starter homes for young families, condominium buildings, and townhouses. Much of the original North Toronto real estate built between 1910 and 1940 has been renovated more than once, and many of the original 1940s bungalows have been demolished to make way for new, multistoried townhouses.
